The service charge is the amount charged by the Museum upon the purchase of Internet tickets for the use of our Services, in accordance with State Law No. 6.103 / 2011 (as amended by Law No. 6.321 / 2012) of Rio de Janeiro. The service charge amount is shown during the ticket purchase process. You can buy tickets directly at the Museum's ticket office without paying the service fee.
Ticket purchases made on the Museum website may be canceled by the customer if it is in their interest. To do so, the following rules must be observed:
A) The request for cancellation may be made up to 07 (seven) consecutive days, from the date of acquisition, in accordance with art. 49 from CDC. If the visitation is scheduled within this seven-day period, the cancellation request must be made by the client no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start of the visitation. In any case, requests for cancellations made after the scheduled start time will not be accepted.
B) Only the User, holder of the purchase, may make the request to cancel the order.
C) The cancellation request is subject to review, so the mere fact that the user promotes the request does not guarantee that your order will be canceled.
D) If the purchase was made using a registration with the site (customer "logged in"), the request for cancellation may be made directly by the user, through the channel "Contact Us" If the purchase was completed as a visitor (without registration), the cancellation request can only be made by contacting the Museum's Customer Service (which can be accessed on this link). E) Only the complete cancellation of the purchase will be accepted and the partial cancellation cannot be made.

G) Upon receipt of the confirmation of purchase cancellation email, the full amounts paid upon purchase will be reversed using the same payment method used to complete the transaction following the following terms and conditions:
G.1) If the purchase has been paid by credit card, the chargeback procedure will be done within ten (10) business days from receipt of the cancellation confirmation email, depending on the cardholder. G.4) If the purchase is paid by debit card, the refund will be displayed in the checking account within 07 (seven) calendar days from receipt of confirmation of cancellation.
